It is regarded as a specific probe for the cells of neuronal origin as well as for the tumors originating from these cells. The betaIII-tubulin is most abundant in cells of neuronal origin, but was also detected in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.

beta-3 Tubulin Antibody (PA5-85609) in IF Immunocytochemistry analysis of beta-3 Tubulin in 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed SK-N-SH cells using beta-3 Tubulin polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-85609) at a dilution of 1:1000. Sample was then incubated with Hoechst secondary antibody. beta-3 Tubulin Antibody (PA5-85609) in IHC (F) Immunohistochemistry analysis of beta-3 Tubulin in frozen E13.5 rat brain using beta-3 Tubulin polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-85609) at a dilution of 1:250. Sample was then incubated with DAPI secondary antibody. beta-3 Tubulin Antibody (PA5-85609) in WB Western blot analysis of beta-3 Tubulin in various whole cell extracts using beta-3 Tubulin polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-85609) using 20 µg of sample at a dilution of 1:10000. Prior to incubation with primary antibody, the sample was separated on 10% SDS-PAGE.
