靶标信息NKX2-5 is a transcription factor protein which plays a crucial role in cardiac development and differentiation. It is a low molecular weight protein of 35-38 kDa depending on phosphorylation status. Expression is mainly restricted to the heart. But during embryogenesis NKX2-5 expression has also been detected in spleen-precursor cells. Over expression of NKX2-5 resulted in expression of neuronal markers in C2C12 murine myogenic cells. Functionally it is involved in differentiation processes in heart development and in homeostasis and survival of cardiac myocytes as well maintains the initial muscle differentiation paradigm.

Nkx2.5 Antibody (PA5-49431) in IF Immunofluorecent analysis of Mouse Nkx2-5 in human cervical epithelial adenocarcinoma HeLa cells. Cells were fixed, permeabilized and stained with Mouse Nkx2-5 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-49431) at a 1:25 dilution, followed by Dylight® 488-conjugated goat rabbit IgG secondary antibody at 1:200 dilution (green). Cytoplasmic actin is detected with Dylight® 554 Phalloidin at 1:100 dilution (red). The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue). Nkx2.5 Antibody (PA5-49431) in WB Western blot analysis of Nkx-5 in (Lane 1) mouse stomach lysates, (Lane 2) mouse spleen lysates, and (Lane 3) mouse heart lysates. Samples were incubated with a Nkx2-5 Antibody (Center) (Product # PA5-49431) at 1:2000 dilution, followed by incubation with a Secondary Goat Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1:10000 dilution. Predicted band size : 34 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.
