Since the protein localizes to the nucleus and binds the epidermal growth factor response element, the protein is thought to be a transcription factor.

数据

KLF5 Antibody (PA5-80756) in IF Immunofluorescence staining of KLF5 in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with KLF5 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-80756) (1:1000) at 4° C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor 594-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (red).Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus.
