| BHQ®-3 Glycolate CPG is used to add a non-fluorescent quencher (BHQ-3 dye) at the 3' end of an oligonucleotide and has been designed to have maximal absorption in the 620 nm to 730 nm range, which provides excellent quenching of fluorophores emitting in this range, e.g. CAL Fluor® Red 635, Cy5, Cy5.5, Pulsar® 650 and Quasar® 670 dyes. This product has a glycolate linkage to the CPG support which allows for rapid cleavage of the oligonucleotide and is labile enough for base sensitive oligonucleotides. The use of fast deprotecting amidites is recommended. |
