| Rabbit anti Human IGF2BP-1 antibodyrecognizes insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 1 (IGF2BP-1), also known as IGF-II mRNA-binding protein 1, VICKZ family member 1, coding region determinant-binding protein and zipcode-binding protein 1.Encoded by the IGF2BP1 gene, insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 1 contains four K homology domains and two RNA recognition motifs. It functions by binding to the mRNAs of certain genes, including insulin-like growth factor 2, beta-actin and beta-transducin repeat-containing protein, and regulating their translation. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for IGF2BP1 (provided by RefSeq, May 2009).Rabbit anti Human IGF2BP-1 antibody detects a band of 63 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
