| Mouse anti Chicken spectrin, clone AA6recognizes spectrin alpha chain, non-erythrocytic 1, also known as Alpha-II spectrin and Fodrin alpha chain, encoded by the SPTAN1 gene. Mouse anti chicken spectrin recognizes bothchicken spectrinand the alpha chain of non-erythroid spectrin in mammalian cells.Mouse anti Chicken spectrin, clone AA6 reacts with the 240 kDa full length spectrin alpha, the ~150 kDa, 145 kDa characteristic breakdown products of calpain and caspase-3 (Nathet al.1996) and the ~120 kDa product, a result of caspase-3 activation (Nathet al.1998). |

| This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. |
